25th Annual Fine Arts Festival

Celebrating 25 years, the prestigious Fine Arts Festival will hosts a free two‐day celebration of  art from 4 pm to 8 pm, Friday, November 16 and from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 17, at the Spanos Community Center, St. Basil’s Greek Orthodox Church, 920 W. March Lane.  Featuring outstanding art, the festival boasts 34  juried artists displaying their work.

Attendees will have the opportunity to shop and meet the artists and see live demonstrations of ceramic “flame ware” by artist,  Eric Struck, on Friday evening at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m.  Enjoy the Spanish Guitar music by Jesse Hendricks on Friday evening.

The festival is hosted by the San Joaquin Potters Guild a membership group of clay and glass artists.  Artists who are juried into the Fine Arts Festival and are widely acclaimed and some are internationally recognized.

Visitors will see handcrafted clay (functional and sculptural), glass, wood, unique jewelry, weaving, paper and paintings that make a beautiful addition to any home, garden or wardrobe. 

Friday, Demonstration and Information

·   6 pm -  Cooking with ceramic flame ware – Artist, Eric Struck
·   5-8 pm -  Artist reception, featuring Spanish guitarist, Jesse Hendricks of Stockton.  
 

Saturday, Demonstration and Information

·   11 am -  Cooking with ceramic Flame ware – Artist, Eric Struck
·   2 pm – Door Prize and Raffle Drawings*

*Proceeds of our raffle go to the Bruce Duke Memorial Scholarship Fund and supporting the LH Horton Gallery’s Vision in Clay annual exhibition.
