"Troke Knitters" at the Margaret K. Troke Library

The Margaret K. Troke Branch Library presents "Troke Knitters" every Wednesday from 2:00-3:30 p.m. during 2016.

Knitting provides many benefits such as new friendships, camaraderie, and health benefits. In our community, there are many needs for knitted goods such as shawls for dialysis and chemotherapy patients, preemie hats, and scarves for children and adults. Participants may keep their products for their own use or donate them to one of these charitable causes.

Mustangs Football Players sign National Letters of Intent for William Penn University

Delta Mustangs football sophomores Leandre Fisher, Winston Green and Benjamin Jones, signed National Letters of Intent to play for William Penn University in Oskaloosa Iowa. The ceremony took place Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 16) at the Mustangs’ student-athlete study hall “The Zone.”

The Stockton Fire Department’s Regional Fire Academy will hold a graduation ceremony, Friday, December 18, 2015, 3:00 p.m., at the Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium, 525 N. Center Street, Stockton. Academy graduates include five firefighters who will join the Stockton Fire Department and three who will join the Lodi Fire Department.
