Club León & Club Atlas meet on the pitch at Banner Island Ballpark
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this Saturday, February 28th, at Banner Island Ballpark Ticket Office for the Wednesday, March 25th friendly soccer match between Mexican Premier League Club Leon and Club Atlas.
The Pacific Athletic Department took part in the 24th Annual Rotary Read-In on Thursday, Feb. 26 as the Tigers headed out to Stockton area schools as one of hundreds of volunteer organizations participating in the event in 2015. Sponsored by the five Stockton-area Rotary Clubs and supported by Barnes & Noble, the Tigers sent student-athletes, coaches, and administrators to Pulliam, George Komure, San Joaquin, and Marshall elementary schools. Volunteers for the event read to Kindergarten through 3rd Grade classes at Stockton Unified and Lincoln Unified elementary schools this year.
On June 28, 2012, the City of Stockton filed a petition for protection under chapter 9 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. Today, February 25, 2015, the City’s Plan of Adjustment or “bankruptcy exit plan” becomes effective. From a legal perspective this is the date the City officially emerges from bankruptcy.
The Calgary Flames reveal the five finalist names for the AHL team set to begin play in Stockton during Fall 2015
The Stockton AHL franchise, owned by the Calgary Flames, announce the five names that have made the final cut from the “Name the AHL Team” contest. The American Hockey League franchise will be known as the Stockton Blaze, Stockton Fire, Stockton Heat, Stockton Inferno or the Stockton Scorch.

Candidates will have the opportunity to apply for the following positions: parking, food services, bat boy, merchandise store, usher, Kids’ Zone, field maintenance, ticket office, promotional team, and ticket taker.
