International Arena Soccer action returns to the Stockton Arena when the U.S. National Arena Soccer Team (USNAST) hosts Team Mexico on Saturday, September 14th at 6 PM. The match is presented by the Stockton Rush and the American Association of Soccer567. Tickets on sale THIS FRIDAY, August 23, at Stockton Arena box office and Ticketmaster.com.

Opening new exhibition Paul Valadez: Mucho Caramelo

The Reynolds Gallery at the University of the Pacific is pleased to announce the opening of the fall semester exhibition season with Paul Valadez: Mucho Caramelo. This exhibition of work gifted to the university in the spring of 2019 by artist Paul Valadez features over 90 acrylic paintings on paper and collages on found paper. Thanks to his generous donation, funding from Latin American Studies program, and the Office of the President at the University of the Pacific, this body of work will become part of Pacific’s permanent art collection.

Stockton Arts Commission Grant Recipient

Artwork is underway by artist, Ilena Finocchi, who is creating a mural at the Fair Oaks Library, 2370 E. Main St, Stockton, CA 95205. The vibrant artwork spans the entire 30ft x 20ft curved wall near the library’s entrance. The mural highlights an octopus which has 3 hearts and nine brains and symbolically represents diversity, intelligence, complexity and insight. Out the the octopus’s hat emerges the creativity and imagination machine that is fueled by reading books.
