Pacific's Kendall Kenyon Signs In Germany With SV Halle

Pacific women's basketball alum Kendall Kenyon signed a professional women's basketball contract with SV Halle of the Bundesliga in Germany Thursday, the team announced.

Kenyon, who set the Tigers' all-time rebounding record and finished fourth on Pacific's all-time scoring list, finished her career at Pacific in the spring, as she graduated in May. In between graduation and signing in Germany, the 6-2 post went on a summer tour of China with an all-star team of women's basketball players.

SV Halle (which, in English is Halle Sports Association) is a club team in Halle, Germany. Located in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The Lions finished sixth last season out of 12 teams in the top flight of German basketball, posting a 12-10 record.

Kenyon owns five Pacific career records - rebounds, offensive boards (402), double-doubles (49), and blocks (172), and 20+ rebound games (4) - while while finishing second in rebounding average (9.3), and fourth in field goals (573) and scoring (1442). She also ranks in the Tigers' top 10 in 11 other categories. In addition, she holds nine single-season Pacific records, and appears on the single-season top 10 lists for 29 separate records. She hit double-digits in scoring in 77 of 114 career games, and double digits in rebounding in 59 of 114 games.

Kenyon is the second Tiger in the last three years to play professionally, as Kendall Rodriguez joined the same German league after college, playing two seasons with GiroLive-Panthers before signing in Australia last winter.

SV Halle opens its season the last week of September, with the Lions facing Grüner Stern Keltern in the opener.
