"Puppet Art Theater Prsents "Hansel & Gretel" at local Libraries

On Thursday, October 24, at 3:30 and 6:00 p.m., the Maya Angelou and Margaret Troke  Libraries will host a Halloween-themed puppet show.  Puppet Art Theater presents "Hansel & Gretel", Gretel overhears her stepmother convince her father to lead she and her brother into the forest and leave them there for good. Hansel’s plan to leave a trail of bread crumbs to find their way home.  The puppet shows will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Maya Angelou Library and 6:00 p.m. at the Margaret Troke Library. 

These free programs are provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Stockton Public Library.  The Maya Angelou & Margaret Troke Libraries are a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and are located at 2324 Pock Lane (Maya Angelou) and 502 W.
