Rasmus Andersson Receives the AMTRAK Call to Calgary

Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled defenseman Rasmus Andersson from the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League. The Flames also announced that defenseman Travis Hamonic has been placed on the IR (retroactive to November 2nd).

Andersson, a 21-year-old defenseman, has played ten games with the Heat this season recording one goal and seven assists totaling eight points. In 54 games with the Heat last season, Andersson notched 3 goals and 19 assists for 22 points. Andersson played in one game with the Flames in the 2016-17 season.
