RTD Wants to Partner With You to Clear the Air!

San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) wants to help clear up the current poor air quality caused by the horrific fire in Northern California.  RTD operates primarily low and no emission vehicles throughout the City of Stockton and wants to be a  partner with local residents by offering FREE bus service to help lessen the effects of the fire on local air quality.

RTD Will Not Operate Bus Service on Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) will not operate its regular fixed-route service (Stockton Metro, Metro Express, Intercity, Hopper, and Commuter Services).  RTD’s administrative offices, Downtown Transit Center (DTC), and call center will also be closed.

Nominations are being sought for the “2018 Stocktonian of the Year” to be presented by the Central Valley Association of REALTORS® Stockton Council (CVAR) and The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce at a banquet to be held early February 2019. The CVAR and the Chamber honors a local citizen each year as the “Stocktonian of the Year” and the 2018 recipient will join the ranks as the 65th “Stocktonian”.

A little storefront facelift can increase curb appeal and attract more business. The City of Stockton is planning to establish a fund to provide small grants of up to $2,000 to businesses located along designated commercial corridors within the city limits for storefront beautification projects.
