Five Big Things About 2018-19 Schedule

The Stockton Heat have announced their schedule for the 2018-19 season. The Heat will start the upcoming campaign on the road against the Bakersfield Condors, before returning the following night for Stockton’s home opener on Saturday, October 6 at 6 p.m.

From opening night to our speciality jerseys there is a lot to get excited for.

Guaranteed Six Games

Opening Night vs. Ontario Reign on Saturday, October 6 at 6 p.m.

Heat Hockey Fights Cancer vs. San Antonio on Saturday, November 3 at

New Year’s Eve Game vs. San Jose on Monday, December 31 at 5 p.m.

Teddy Bear Toss vs. Texas on Saturday, January 19 at 6 p.m.

Safety and Law Enforcement Appreciation Night vs. Colorado on Saturday, February 16 at 6 p.m.

Star Wars Night vs. San Diego on Saturday, March 2 at 6 p.m.

Our promo schedule will be released in the coming weeks. The popular theme nights will include some new jerseys and another promo night where fans will have the chance to throw things onto the ice!

San Jose Dates

Stockton and San Jose enter year four of the Northern California rivalry in the American Hockey League. The Heat will have extra motivation against the Barracuda this season as the Sharks’ affiliate has ended Stockton’s season two consecutive years, including the regular season finale at Stockton Arena last April. San Jose comes to town six times this upcoming season.

Saturday, December 1 at 6 p.m.

Monday, December 31 at 5 p.m. (New Year’s Eve Game)

Friday, February 1 at 7 p.m.

Sunday, February 24 at 5 p.m.

Colorado and Iowa return to Stockton

The Colorado Eagles will be returning to Stockton Arena for the first time since they were in the ECHL playing the Stockton Thunder. The Eagles are first year members to the AHL and the Pacific division. The Iowa Wild will return to Stockton Arena for the first time since the Heat’s inaugural season. Stockton is 2-0 all time against the Wild, including a 7-4 victory in March of 2016, the lone matchup at Stockton Arena.

Preseason Games

Stockton will play a home and home series with the Bakersfield Condors on the last weekend of September. On Friday, September 29 Stockton will play in Bakersfield at 2 p.m. and the following day the Heat will host the Condors at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 30.
