Once again, the greater Stockton community will benefit from the 27th annual Peaceful Holiday Gift Faire, offering international and local handcrafts for sale to the public on Friday and Saturday, December 6 and December 7, 2013. The popular gift faire will be held at the Central United Methodist Church, 3700 Pacific Avenue, Stockton. Admission to the fair is free and the event will be open on Friday from 4:00–9:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00–2:00 pm.
Sponsored by the Peace & Justice Network of San Joaquin County, the Peaceful Holiday Gift Faire provides the community with a place to find unique and high quality handcrafts that benefit local and global artisans. This year includes a variety of hand woven goods, artistic gems and jewelry, items for children/infants, as well pottery and stained glass.
Join the Stockton community in celebrating the spirit of global peace! Come in from the cold and enjoy hot soup, bread and other refreshments. Hear delightful music and mingle with others as you find a special gift for everyone on your holiday list!
The Peace & Justice Network is a local grassroots educational nonprofit organization committed to nonviolent resolution of conflicts and education on peace and justice issues.
