American Red Cross to Collect Holiday Cards for Troops at Stockton’s Weberstown Mall

On Saturday, December 7, join with the American Red Cross Capital Region and Congressman Jerry McNerney (D-Stockton) at Weberstown Mall in Stockton as they send holiday greetings and well wishes to our nation’s military members around the world.
 
The Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign is an annual Red Cross tradition during which offers the public can purchase and/or create holiday cards and send greetings to active duty and retired military members locally and abroad.
 
“These cards are especially during the holidays when so many of our troops are away from their families,” said Kathleen Weis, Chief Executive Officer of the Red Cross Capital Region “The Red Cross has a long history of supporting our military, and Holiday Mail for Heroes is a lovely way we are able to express our thanks and gratitude each year to those who sacrifice so much on our behalf.”
 
Red Cross volunteers and military representatives will be in front of the Dillard’s store at Weberstown Mall from 11:30am – 2:00pm, during which time shoppers are invited to come by to create and sign cards for the troops. The cards will then be sent to military installations, veteran’s hospitals, and military groups around the world.
 
Weberstown Mall is located at 4950 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95207.
