“Hockey with Heart is a chance for the Thunder to partner with the American Heart Association in an effort to help increase awareness about heart related issues,” said Thunder manager of marketing and business development Melissa Piffero. “Heart disease kills more people than all cancers combined and through this event we are able to help educate our fans to make better heart choices.”

Heart Month celebration to raise heart health awareness in community
Heart disease claims more lives in San Joaquin County than any other cause of death. To start saving more of these lives, St. Joseph’s Medical Center is opening its doors to the community for its 10th annual Heart Faire this Valentine’s Day, February 14, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
In their final tune-up before the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships, the Pacific men's and women's swimming teams will hit the pool for a pair of meets this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 1-2.
Presenters will be former and current members of government.
A series of classes that will be offered to help locals gain a better understanding of what government agencies do. For example, what exactly is a “water district” or a “mosquito abatement district.”
SMG’s Stockton Arena Partners with BloodSource and Stockton Thunder
SMG and BloodSource are teaming up to help patients in need at the Are You A Match? Blood and Bone Marrow Drive taking place February 17th at the Stockton Arena from 11 am - 4 pm.
The City of Stockton Fire Department teamed up with Stockton, Lodi, Manteca and Lincoln school districts, as well as private schools in the area, to come up with a slogan for Sparky the Fire Dog signs, which are signs typically found in front of the fire houses throughout Stockton.
CDM Smith has received a Merit Award from the California Chapter American Council of Engineering Companies for their work on the Pinnacles City of Stockton Delta Water Supply in Stockton.
