Beginning Wednesday, April 27, and running through Sunday, May 15, 2016, Stockton Civic Theatre will present the hilarious British farce “Funny Money”. Written by Ray Cooney, the author of SCT’s 2014 smash hit “It Runs in the Family,” never has this master of farce been frenetically funnier!

The Leadership Stockton Class of 2016 is pleased to announce their class project will be completed on Saturday, April 23rd. Partnering with the Stockton Police Department, their project is: P.E.A.C.E. - Police Encouragement And Community Engagement.

On Friday, April 15, 2016, Morada Middle School from Stockton, California placed first in the 14th Annual Garrett Morgan Sustainable Transportation Competition for their Grape Stomp Bio-Fuel Project.  The winning team was led by their teacher Michael Hurst and sponsored by the California Transportation Department (Caltrans) Stockton office.

Stockton's Earth Day Festival has a long history of helping people recognize the importance of caring for our earth and natural resources. This year's popular community event will be held April 24th at Victory Park (Behind Haggin Museum) from 11am to 4pm.

Each year, Stockton plays host to the Stockton Nagar Kirtan, which boasts the title of being one of the largest Sikh parades in the entire state of California.

This event will promote positive change within the community of South Stockton, while
raising funds for the 2016 Peace and Dignity Journeys.
