Breaking News: Supervisor Zapien Elected Chairman of San Joaquin Board of Supervisors

Former Stockton City Council member Moses Zapien was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown last Thursday to fill in the vacancy of Supervisor District 3. He was sworn on January 4 at 10am and was immediately voted the new Chairman of the S.J. Board of Supervisors by his peers. Congratulations to Supervisor Zapien, his family and all friends and associates. As he has said, he is a representative of the people and together we can make a better community.
