The City of Stockton is currently accepting applications for the Civil Service Commission for two volunteer positions. All applicants must be registered to vote and live within the City limits of the City of Stockton throughout the term of service.
The City encourages applicants to submit applications by March 18, 2015, one week prior to the scheduled interviews to be held on March 25, 2015. Applications received after the deadlines will be considered for future recruitments.
Civil Service Commission meets monthly and adopts, amends, or repeals rules for the Civil Service System and acts in an advisory capacity to the City Manager on problems concerning personnel administration.

City offices are open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and every other Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. City offices are closed every other Friday and on observed holidays. City offices will be closed March 6 and 20, 2015.
