Collide Festival “A Finale For Stockton Arts Week”

The City of Stockton will host a big finale to Stockton Arts week on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, with the Collide Festival at Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center Street, from 4 – 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and will offer live music, entertainment, cultural performances, free makerspace workshops, life-size sculptures, exhibitors, art market, food trucks, a community live art competition and more!

Collide is a celebration of art in all its forms. The festival will showcase sculptures, music, spoken word, dance, painting, photography, and hand made goods. Enjoy the live music and performances while visiting the art market where many vendors will be highlighting their art and/or hand made goods. In addition, many exhibitors will be hosting informational booths related to art organizations.

Ready to get your hands dirty? Festival goers can learn skills in free makerspace workshops from acrylic pouring to wire art making. The goal of the festival is to spark collaboration and inspire new combinations of cultural and artistic traditions.

The finale event is made possible in collaboration with many local art organizations, local artists, Visit Stockton, and by the California Arts Council.
