Councilmember Michael Tubbs, District 6, will hold monthly office hours at the Dorothy L. Jones Family Resource Center, 2044 Fair Street. The Dorothy L. Jones Center is operated by the Community Partnership for Families and located in Williams Brotherhood Park. Office hours for Councilmember Tubbs will be, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., the fourth Wednesday of each month, beginning Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
"To reinvent Stockton, we have to make government transparent and accessible so that ordinary citizens feel like they influence the policy making process and have a stake in moving our city forward,” said Councilmember Tubbs. “To that end, I will be holding regular office hours to make myself accessible to the people that I serve. Individuals or groups are welcome to come during these hours to say hello, give input or to express their concerns."
Councilmember Tubbs represents Council District 6, which extends north to Martin Luther King, Jr., (MLK) Blvd.; west to the San Joaquin River; east to D Street and east of State Route 99 to Mariposa Road; south to French Camp Road and Arch Airport Road, including the incorporated areas surrounding, but not including, the Stockton Metropolitan Airport.
