The Phinnie International Education Group (Hong Kong), with delegates from Beijing and Shanghai, will join forces at San Joaquin Delta College on Thursday, September 29, to launch the inaugural International Preschool Education Scholars Exchange Program.
Key to this pilot venture is the Phinnie Scholarship/Internship Program. Starting in spring 2017, ten scholarships/internships will be available to qualified Delta College Early Childhood Education graduates to study in China. All major expenses will be paid in full, up to $30,000. The scholarship award is good for up to two years, renewable after one year. If successful, the pilot project will be used as a model and extended to other institutes of higher learning.
This ground-breaking scholarship/internship opportunity between the Phinnie International Education Group and San Joaquin Delta College will serve as an inaugural teacher-exchange program for graduates with an AA degree. The program will offer cooperation opportunities between China and the United States, and at the same time, play a major part in East-West cultural sharing and globalization efforts.
