The City of Stockton Economic Development Department Housing Division is holding focus group meetings on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. A series of four consecutive meetings will be held discussing various concentrations of a plan developed to identify needs and use of funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Members of the community are invited to attend any or all focus group meetings. Meeting times and topics of discussion include:
- Central City – 9:00 a.m.;
- Economic Development – 10:45 a.m.;
- Housing Development – 1:00 p.m.; and
- Business Development/General – 2:45 p.m.
All sessions will be held at the City of Stockton Economic Development Department, 400 E. Main St., 4th Floor.
The City’s current 2015 – 2020 Consolidated Plan is available online at www.stocktonca.gov/housing. The upcoming meetings will focus on development of the 2020 – 2025 Consolidated Plan required by HUD.
Community participation is critical to developing effective strategies for targeting the limited funding received by the City of Stockton to areas and groups where it will have the most impact. All interested members of the community are welcome and encouraged to participate.
