Exciting Changes at Lincoln Center

Market Tavern, a welcome addition to Lincoln Center and San Joaquin County, is expected to open its doors at 236 Lincoln Center in October. It will be both a full service restaurant and market. The restaurant will feature a wood-‐burning oven to produce traditional style Neapolitan pizzas, a wood-‐burning grill and rotisserie for organic chicken, naturally-‐raised meats, and wild fish.

Also featured are seasonal and organic local produce, hand crafted cocktails, great wines, and an exciting beer program. On the market side, guests can take home house made lasagnas, local wines, cheese and olive oils, produce, pre-‐made sandwiches and salads, pies, house baked bread and cookies, and of course their delicious gelato. Market Tavern’s commitment to its customers is to source their ingredients locally and make everything from scratch (breads included).

Planet Beach Contempo Spa will open in December just next door to Market Tavern. The contempo spa offers customers fully automated, push-‐button spa and UV services in a private room without the need of an attendant. These rejuvenating wellness services include massages, facials, hydration treatments, teeth whitening, guided meditation, oxygen therapy, weight management treatments, UV therapy and Mystic spray tans. Planet Beach also offers a wide range of skincare and nutrition products.

Code 3 Wear, a public safety outfitter with full service uniform sales and maintenance programs, will open in December. Code 3 Wear specializes in providing quality public safety uniforms to police, fire, EMS and medical professionals. They also offer a full-‐service maintenance program that includes cleaning, pressing, alterations, repairs and replacement of uniforms.

Stockton Joe’s Italian Steakhouse, a long-‐time community favorite, is now under the management of Brian Salemme and local Chef Richard Hyman. Their new menu, which launched at the end of July, features flavorsome appetizers, made-‐from-‐scratch soups, fresh salads, a variety of pasta dishes, fresh fish and seafood, steaks, veal and chicken entrees. All dishes are made from scratch and feature the freshest ingredients. Stockton Joe’s is open for lunch Monday – Friday and dinner daily.

More exciting changes lie ahead within the coming months at Lincoln Center. The former Campbell’s in the Village building will be demolished in late September. Plans are being finalized for new businesses in that location. Lincoln Center also plans to add public restrooms for shoppers and update the Center’s main entrance in 2014.
