Reading is Delicious! AT THE LINDEN BRANCH LIBRARY
Throughout June and July, the Linden Branch will be presenting a variety of family friendly programs to celebrate summer reading for teens themed “Reading is Delicious!”. Teens will earn prizes for the reading that they do during the summer. What is even better is teens can participate in fantastic programs all summer long*absolutely free!
The following is a list of fun programs for you to mark on your calendar!
Wednesday June 12th at 2:30 pm: Tye Dye Time! Bring something you want to make new and exciting with the tye dye technique. Ages 12 and up.
Thursday July 11th at 2:00pm: Join cartoonist Stephen Bentley, creator of “Herb and Jamal” to learn about the art of cartooning and to develop your artistic skills!
Wednesday July 24th at 2:30 pm: Design your own “Duct Tape Wallet”! Come and learn how to design your own indestructible wallet made out of duct tape. Ages 12 and up.
ADULT SUMMER READING PROGRAMS AT THE MANTECA BRANCH LIBRARY
The Manteca Library presents this year's "Reading Is So Delicious" Summer Reading Program. Summer Reading runs June 1 through July 31 and encourages everyone of all ages to continue reading during the summer. The Library will host a variety of activities for children, teens, and adults that encourage and support a love of reading.
Join us for Adult Summer Reading as the American Red Cross presents timely information for helping families stay safe and healthy during emergency situations, the Manteca Camera Club hosts workshops on Photoshop techniques, and Master Gardeners continue their popular program series with information on water saving garden methods and
converting a turf lawn into an easily managed landscape.

READING IS SO DELICIOUS AT THE CESAR CHAVEZ CENTRAL LIBRARY
The Cesar Chavez Central Library welcomes one and all to participate in the 2013 Summer Reading Program.
