Get Your Zumba On at the Cesar Chavez Library
On Mondays, December 2 through March 31, at 4:00 p.m., the Cesar Chavez Library presents Zumba fitness. Created by Alberto "Beto" Perez, Zumba is a dance fitness program set to salsa, cumbia, samba and merengue music. This series of classes will be taught by Maria A. Cook, who has added this Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow, calarie-burning, dance fitness party to her line up of classes already taking place at the Weston Ranch Branch Library. Started in August at the Chavez Library, this class is so popular that we decided to extend it. Come and get your groove on, while shedding those unwanted pounds picked up during the winter holiday season. Fun for the whole family! Please note there will be no class on the following Mondays: January 20, February 10, and February 17.
This free program is provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Stockton Public Library.
