To welcome the Market in the new location, DSA has power-washed the sidewalks, hung large, colorful banners on street poles and painted the boarded up storefronts of the Main Hotel with a vibrant mural depicting oversized produce grown in the San Joaquin Valley. Due to the San Joaquin County Courthouse construction, the popular Downtown Stockton Farmers Market has moved two blocks down Main Street in front of the Chase Bank Plaza. The opening day is Friday, May 1st. The Market will run every Friday through October 30, from 8 am to 2 pm.
