Grand Opening of the Stribley Branch Library
The Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library is proud to announce the opening of a new, contemporary library within the Stribley Community Center. The Stribley library, located at 1760 E. Sonora Street in Stockton, will feature a wide array of programming and services targeted to the residents of the Stribley neighborhood. Initial programs and services will include: bilingual storytimes for all ages, homework help, and maker space activities with a 3D printer. Additional programs such as English language conversation and ESL classes, job and career skills workshops, and other programs based on the community residents’ needs will be added in subsequent months. The Stribley Library schedule will be as follows:
· Tuesdays and Thursdays 2-7 pm
· Wednesdays 1-6 pm
· Fridays 10 am – 12 pm and 2-5 pm
· Saturdays 12-5 pm
Community members are invited to a special grand opening of the Stribley Library on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 4:45-6:45 pm. The evening’s program will include activities, maker space demonstrations, refreshments, and tours of the library and community center.
