One of Stockton, California's very won Araia Rahni Porter has been accepted into The National Society of High School Scholars. As a child, Araia was always independent, quiet and very determined. Whatever she put her mind to, she made sure she gave 110%. Araia has always shown a unique interest in her academics, which as she got older, turned into a fierce determination to keep her school work her top priority.
She earned many academic accolades throughout her high school career, including Honor Roll awards every year. She graduates this year from Bear Creek High School with an overall GPA of 3.8, while working for the last two years and taking a strenuous Medical Assistant course. She is currently doing her medical externship at Trinity Urgent Care and Occupational Health. She will be attending San Jose State University in the Fall.
