"Movies at the Point" Series at Weber Point Event Center

Enjoy a summer free film under the canopy at Weber Point Event Center

Get ready for another fun-filled summer with Movies At The Point, family-friendly events from the City of Stockton Community Services Department.  Sit under the stars at the beautiful Weber Point Event Center in downtown Stockton and enjoy free PG-rated movies with family and friends.

Movies At The Point is a free film series featuring a different movie the second Friday of every month, beginning in June and ending the series with the Spooktacular event in October.  The first feature film “Big Hero 6” shows Friday, June 12.

The gates to Weber Point Event Center open at 6:30 p.m., and all movies begin at dusk.  Admission is free and seating is first-come, first-serve.  Movie-goers are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic-style dinners.  Concessions will also be available to purchase an assortment of snacks.  To ensure a family-friendly and safe environment, glass containers/bottles, alcohol, and smoking are not permitted in the park.

-Friday, July 10:  “Maleficent”
-Friday, August 14:  “Wreck-It Ralph”
-Friday, September 11:  “Home”
-Friday, October 9:  “The Book of Life”*
*Spooktacular Event and Trick-or-Treat Parade.  Gates open early at 5:30 p.m.
