On Tuesday, August 5, 2014, City neighborhoods are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the "31st Annual National Night Out," a crime and drug prevention event. National Night Out, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and locally by the Stockton Police Department, includes over 16,124 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases around the world. In all, over 37.8 million people are expected to participate in "America's Night Out Against Crime."
All Neighborhood Watch Groups are urged to sign-up, and all requests for participation need to be received no later than Monday, July 7, 2014.
National Night Out's Mission:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships
- Send message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
National Night Out Celebration
On August 5, 2014, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. residents across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police. Many neighborhoods throughout Stockton will host special events such as block parties, cookouts, parades, flashlight walks, contests, youth activities, anti-crime rallies and visits with police.
"This is a night for America to stand together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity," said National Project Coordinator Matt Peskin. "We invite neighborhoods nationwide to join us in giving crime and drugs a going away party."
City officials, staff, police and fire personnel will make special visits to Neighborhood Watch Groups around the City to help celebrate this special occasion.
As you have seen this is similar to how Modafinil works where you can buy or purchase Modafinil online.
