Are you having trouble accepting a that a relative is lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender? Are you ready to join a compassionate group of people to process about and support the LGBTQ community?
Then come to our meeting!
PFLAG is proud to announce the creation of a new support group for the Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, as well as bisexual and transgender individuals, in Stockton. Featuring a special guest speaker, Rev. Elena Kelly, our inaugural meeting will be taking place on Saturday, December 14 at 4 pm at the First Unitarian Univsersalist Church in Stockton at 2737 Pacific Avenue, Stockton CA.
"I think PFLAG is a much needed program for advocacy, education and compassion that we in Stockton can extend to all LGBTQ community and family membes, including individuals who feel excluded by the church,” says Lauren Chaffee, Pastor of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Stockton.
We will also be having the election of our Board, and there will be time for sharing and support for anyone experiencing stress during the sometimes-trying holiday season. Share with us, care with us! Plus, we have cookies!
