Ports to Host Casting Call and National Anthem Auditions
The Ports’ annual casting call and Anthem auditions will be held on February 28th
The Stockton Ports are excited to announce that the annual casting call and National Anthem auditions will be held at Banner Island Ballpark on Saturday, February 28th.
The casting call will be open to the public from 10:00am to 1:00pm for seasonal game-day employment. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply for the following positions: parking, food services, bat boy, merchandise store, usher, Kids’ Zone, field maintenance, ticket office, promotional team, and ticket taker.
While formal interviews will not be conducted at the casting call, candidates will have the opportunity to talk with front office members. Selected applicants for the various positions will be contacted by the front office and invited back for a formal interview at a later date. All candidates must be age 16 or over by Opening Day, April 16th, 2015.
“We are excited for our third annual casting call and are looking forward to finding great additions from the Stockton community for our 2015 game-day team,” said Ports Assistant General Manager Bryan Meadows.
Job descriptions and applications are now available at stocktonports.com. All candidates may park in the main lot and enter through the front gates. Applications will also be available the day of the casting call. Additionally, the Ports will be hosting their annual National Anthem auditions following the casting call from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, February 28th. Singers should be prepared to perform the National Anthem with no background music and in front of an audience. Selected singers will be contacted by the Ports front office for scheduling.
