San Joaquin Regional Transit District’s (RTD) Deputy CEO, Gloria Salazar, was honored as a woman who is “breaking through the bamboo ceiling” at the third annual women’s leadership event hosted by the Central Valley Asian-American Chamber of Commerce (CVACC). Salazar, who oversees multiple departments at RTD, was selected by the CVACC Board and nominating committee because of her professional success and role as a leader in the community.
The event included dinner, a keynote address, entertainment, and a lively panel discussion featuring Salazar and four additional dynamic women leaders. Loreen Huey, the Co-President of the Chinese Cultural Society of Stockton, moderated the panel.
