More Information About the Sessions
August 4 - Naturopathy, Non-Invasive Holistic Medicine
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of primary health care... an art, science and practice of preventing, diagnosing and treating conditions of the human mind and body. Learn how this wonderful system of medicine uses the best of both ancient wisdom and modern science to help patients attain a greater level of health and well-being. In this class you will have the opportunity to ask questions about your health concerns.
August 11 - Honoring Your Perfect Self, While Achieving Your Wellness goals
Too often we criticize ourselves for the way we look, for the dietary choices we make, for the pants that no longer fit. Too infrequently do we celebrate our bodies, our “selves,” just as we are. During this class you will be introduced to strategies of how you can love and honor yourself as you are throughout the experience of moving towards increased wellness.
August 18 - Awaken the Healing in Your Hands
Experience what your hands and your heart can do as part of a self-care/self-healing practice. Learn what Qi Gong (“Energy Work”), Acupressure and pure plant medicinals can do for your own self care; and walk away with techniques to share with family and friends. Wear comfortable clothing and be ready for a fun, participatory evening!
August 25 - Healing and Joy through Forgiveness
Recent research demonstrates the almost magical benefits of deeply forgiving others—and ourselves. Learn tools to replace anger and stress with compassion and optimism. With deep forgiveness we transcend the limitations of the ego and are released to our natural state of joy. This workshop focuses on self-transformation, positive psychology, compassionate communication, and A Course In Miracles.
