SMG Stockton managed venues (Stockton Arena, Bob Hope Theatre, Stockton Ballpark and the Oak Park Ice Arena) continue to be a popular destination for families in Stockton and the surrounding area. With over 20 events in the month of March alone, SMG Stockton welcomed over 60,000 patrons to their venues.
At the Stockton Arena, sports took center stage. The CIF Masters Tournament featured the best in Northern California high school wrestling on their way to the State Tournament. The Stockton Thunder played 10 home games, and the San Jose Sabercats returned for another preseason scrimmage against the LA Kiss.
Sports weren’t the only things on the schedule however, as the Stockton Arena hosted the Stockton Police Department Awards, an Instagram Meetup and Food Truck Frenzy, and University of the Pacific’s concert with Diplo and Sage the Gemini.
From urban shows with Faizon Love and Plies, to bluegrass featuring Steve Martin, jazz with Al Jarreau, and the classic film Charade with Friends of the Fox, the Bob Hope Theatre hosted a wide range of shows.
As Stockton Ballpark gets ready for Ports Baseball, the Easy Bay Classic, featuring high school baseball teams, took the field for a weekend of great amateur baseball action. And at Oak Park Ice Arena, the newly launched Mom & Tot Skate sessions were a huge hit, and will continue on into the summer.
