Curious about the value of some of your antiques and collectibles,
such as that brooch your great grandmother gave you or those military
items that have been in your family for nearly a century? This event is
for you!
Back by popular demand and hosted by ladies of JWG,
this appraisal event features representatives from Bonhams of San
Francisco. Bonhams is one of the world’s oldest and largest auctioneers
of fine art and antiques.
Appraisers will give a cost evaluation
of up to three items per person. Plus participants will have an option
to consign and sell at auction if their items meet Bonhams’ minimum
consignment requirements.This event is open to the general public, and
JWG will send invitations to Museum members.
Appraisers will be at The Haggin Museum to provide verbal auction estimates in the following specializations:
-Fine Art (photos, paintings, sculpture)
-Furniture & Decorative Arts (china and silver)
-Books & Manuscripts
-Asian Works of Art
-Native American Art
-World War I and II Memorabilia (excluding firearms and ordnance of any kind)
For all oversized items, please bring a photograph with dimensions and pertinent information.
Bonhams
appraisers will not be able to provide evaluations during this event
for watches, antiquities (ancient Greek, Egyptian or Roman objects),
musical instruments, entertainment memorabilia, African or Oceanic
artifacts, or sports memorabilia.
