The Stockton Filipino Center Plaza is helping in relief efforts to the areas affected by the typhoon in the
Philippines.
They are accepting clothes for the children and adults, canned goods, first aid kits,
Tylenol, Ibuprofen and antibiotic ointment (unopened).
Those who want to donate in Stockton can drop off their donation at the Filipino Center
Plaza, 6 West Main Street, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. starting Thursday, November 14
until Thursday, November 21, except Sunday.
The Center Plaza have partnered with LBC, a door to door cargo forwarding company with offices
worldwide, will ship this donation to the Philippine National Red Cross, free of charge.
The requested in-kind donations are needed by the 21st, giving time to sort, pack, and deliver to the
shipper on Saturday, November 23, 2013.
Those who want to donate cash can go directly to the American Red Cross and write at the bottom,
Yolanda Relief Effort, Philippines. The local Filipino Center Plaza does not accept cash donation!
