The Friends of the Fox with SMG presents The Wizard of Oz at the Bob Hope Theatre March 14th and 15th. The Saturday, March 14th showing is geared toward individuals with special needs (autism, DS, MS, CP, etc.) and their families to provide a special opportunity to enjoy their favorite classic film in a safe and accepting environment.
Saturday, March 14 doors 1:00pm/show 2:00pm:
This showing is geared toward individuals with special needs (autism, DS, MS, CP, etc.) and their families to provide an opportunity to enjoy their favorite classic film in a safe and accepting environment. Tickets are $8 for adults; $4 for children and students with ID; and a FlexPack of 10 tickets can be purchased for $60.
Sunday, March 15 doors 1:00pm/show 2:00PM:
Complementary water, wine, and snacks are included. Tickets are $8 for adults; $4 for children and students with ID; and a FlexPack of 10 tickets can be purchased for $60.
Sunday’s pre-show entertainment includes:
- Elaine Horn, the internationally known impersonator of the young Judy as Dorothy Gale. Ms. Horn will be available for photos and meet and greet at 1:00pm on Sunday, as well as after the show.
- Two special art exhibits: artist Robert Kelley from Art Expressions will display Wizard of Oz artwork, and Micke Grove Zoo will display paintings done by the zoo animals!
- The Stockton Portsmen Barbershop Chorus to perform in the lobby at 1pm.
- Dave Moreno at the Mighty Morton organ at 1:30pm, with master of ceremonies, Matias Bombal.
