The ECHL has released the Thunder’s revised schedule for the remainder of the year with all Thunder home games to be played on the dates originally scheduled at the start of the season.
“While the circumstances surrounding the necessity of the rescheduling are disappointing, we are thrilled that our fans will be able to attend Thunder home games as originally scheduled,” said Team President Brian Sandy. “The entire conference worked with the league to solve a difficult situation and create a revised schedule that works for every team.”
While the team’s home schedule will just include new opponents on the same dates, the team’s road schedule will look a bit different as five different dates were added to the schedule including:
Feb. 4 at Bakersfield
Feb. 11 at Alaska
Feb. 13 at Alaska
April 6 at Ontario
April 11 at Bakersfield
The road dates that were removed from the schedule are:
Jan. 30 at San Francisco
Feb. 14 at San Francisco
Feb. 16 at San Francisco
March 7 at San Francisco
March 20 at Las Vegas
“The opportunity to play Alaska in five straight contests is an exciting one that should create a playoff like atmosphere,” said Sandy. “Initially we were going to spend February 7 through 9 at Alaska, but with the new dates, the team will play the Aces five times between February 7 through February 13.”
Below is the schedule for the remainder of the Thunder’s regular season. The team will play a total of 72 games. Bolded dates signify Thunder home games while bolded and italicized dates signify new opponents for Thunder home games. All times are PST:
