The Pacific women's soccer team heads south this weekend for matches against #12 Pepperdine on Friday at 3 PM and Loyola Marymount on Sunday at 2 PM. Both contests will be live streamed free of charge courtesy of the W.tv.
Last weekend the Tigers took down San Francisco 5-3 behind goals from Loren Landrus, Bryndís Rún Thórólfsdóttir, Alex Hussar, Katelyn Chandler and Jessica Fogel. Hussar also added a pair of assists, and goalie Henriikka Mäkelä made five saves in between the posts en route to her third win this season. The Orange and Black faced a setback to visiting Santa Clara on Sunday to wrap up regular season home play, putting them at 5-10-2 overall, 2-4 in West Coast Conference action.
No. 12 Pepperdine boasts a 12-2-2 overall record including a perfect 6-0 in WCC play, which puts them at first place overall. Loyola Marymount is 6-6-4 this year including a 4-3-2 mark at home.
The regular season concludes next Saturday, Nov. 4th at Saint Mary's at 3 PM, and the Tigers will look to make it three-straight wins against the Gaels.
