University of the Pacific Head Women's Soccer Coach Keith Coleman has announced the signing of Milan Cabrera for the 2013 season.
Milan is a 5-8 defender from Canyon Country, Calif. She will join her sister Malaya at Pacific and will be eligible as a senior after transferring from Oregon State. She has an undergraduate degree in biology and will begin a masters program at Pacific in the fall. After playing her first three seasons for the Beavers, she suffered a knee injury and redshirted 2012. She helped lead Oregon State to the NCAA Tournament in each of her first three seasons. Milan had two goals in her time with the Beavers, with both goals coming against Weber State in 2010, including the game-winner. In her final season (2011), Milan was one of only four players to start in every game, playing 1,908 minutes. Playing in 61 games for Oregon State, she started 52.
"We are very excited to be adding a Student-Athelte with Milan's pedigree, she brings a wealth of top level experience and knowledge with her from her time in the Pac 12," said Coleman. "She has been an impact at every level and never missed a post season tournament during her active career at OSU."
