After an extensive nationwide search, The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Timm Quinn has been selected as Chief Executive Officer. The CEO position was previously held by Douglass W. Wilhoit, Jr. since 1999.
Hiring from within, Quinn has been with the Chamber for more than sixteen years, with his first position being Exhibit Sales Representative for the Chamber Stockton Ag Expo. Since that time, Timm has held positions ranging from Special Events Coordinator to Leadership Stockton Program Director, most recently serving as Interim CEO since July 2021.
“With his prior leadership of Chamber programs, and as Interim CEO, Timm has displayed the strength and ability to continue developing the Chamber on behalf of our vibrant business community in Stockton and beyond. We are excited to have him lead our staff and board as we continue to grow,” states Chris Kay, Chamber Board President.
Timm currently serves on the Leadership Stockton Alumni Association Board of Directors and served as the Co-Chair of the United Way of San Joaquin Stockton Community Council for four years. Timm is a graduate of the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE) Academy, and is a Stockton Certified Tourism Ambassador. A 4th generation Stocktonian, Timm is a graduate of Lincoln High School, where he was an All-American swimmer and was on the water polo team. He earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
