On the Miracle Mile on Saturday, October 17 from Harding Way to North Central Avenue the University of the Pacific's Homecoming Parade will take place. Plan now to use alternate routes from 12pm - 3pm on Pacific Avenue ruining through the Miracle Mile.
Homecoming, a cherished Pacific tradition, roars back October 17. Homecoming weekend will feature popular signature events including Tiger Rally: United We Roar (a combined event including Lip Sync and Midnight Mania), Taste of Pacific and the Homecoming Parade, along with a host of other events in between. With Alumni Reunions and wine tasting for adults, family activities and student events, Pacific Homecoming is truly an event for all ages.
The Parade is brought to you by ASuop and the Alumni Association, the Homecoming Parade highlights student organizations, and includes floats and live performances, as well as community groups from the Stockton area. The parade route begins at the corner of Pacific and Harding Way and continues down the Miracle Mile district to North Central Avenue, where the floats will return to campus. The parade will start at 1pm, so be sure to arrive early to get your spot. Shuttles will be provided round trip from campus to the Miracle Mile, departing continuously from Burns Tower between 11:30am and 3pm. This year's theme is Roaring Through the Past, Present and Future!
After the parade, enjoy Jazz on the Green. The Brubeck Festival is proud to host Jazz on the Green Family Fun Day. The event is FREE and open to the public. The afternoon will feature live jazz performances, a Music of Dave Brubeck Inspires My Imagination K-12 Students Art Exhibit, local cultural art and educational activities, street performers, food truck offerings and much more. Jazz on the Green will take place on Knoles Lawn at University of the Pacific.
