The Reynolds Gallery is pleased to present, "CONFLUENCES: Circumnavigating The Territory" a solo exhibition of large-scale color photographs and video works by Dennis DeHart on view September 28 through October 26, 2015.
Please join us, Monday, September 28, for a gallery reception, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., with an Artist's Talk at 7:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
"Confluences" is an interdisciplinary, lens based project focused on the Columbia River drainage basin. Spanning eight US states and two countries, the series examines the interconnections of borders through the framework of bio-regionalism. The impetus for the project stems from a desire to learn and develop a sense of place through both research and direct, experiential engagement. The project is a continuation of DeHart’s ongoing interests in the connections, conflicts, and intersections of the natural and cultural worlds.
Gallery hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Admission is free. Please call 209.946.2241 to confirm a weekend appointment. Currently, the Reynolds Gallery exhibition program runs only during the academic year.
