San Joaquin County Parks launched a new website this week complete with a new web address and new design that will be compatible with mobile-friendly devices.
The website – www.sjparks.com – will now solely host the parks and facilities of San Joaquin County and feature the department’s new logo.
Micke Grove Zoo will retain the department’s previous website – www.mgzoo.com – and will be maintained by the Micke Grove Zoological Society.
“We understand the needs of our guests are changing,” states Parks Administrator Duncan Jones. “Our new site will allow guests to access information such as disc golf, boat launching or our campgrounds, wherever they are.”
Designed by Mayaco Marketing & Internet, www.sjparks.com offers detailed information and prices about park facilities, including the Oaks Nature Center, located at Oak Grove Regional Park. Additionally, the new site can now also be accessed through smartphone or tablet devices.
Based in Stockton, Mayaco Marketing & Internet has developed a number of websites and projects locally and nationally in addition to numerous regional and statewide online solutions.
Additional website improvements are planned in order to better serve the local community with an extremely inviting and easy-to-use online marketing and informational tool.
