San Joaquin County’s largest Thanksgiving Day event, the Run and Walk Against Hunger, presented by the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation, will be welcoming runners back to downtown Stockton and inviting them to ‘move their feet before they eat’ on November 24th. Registration is now open.

“Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trots are some of the most popular running events in the entire country, and for the Food Bank, it makes sense,” said Dr. Leonard Hansen, Emergency Food Bank CEO. “Thanksgiving is all about family, food and fun. When runners put on their running bibs, they are ensuring that needy families within the County will be able to provide healthy meals for their families.”

Celebrating their 18th year, the run is just like a Thanksgiving Day spread, offering plenty of options to choose from. Race day features 3 events, a Kids Fun Run, a 5k Run/Walk and a 10K Run. For more information and to register, please visit www.runagainsthunger.org

The Run & Walk Against Hunger presented by the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation, draws over 2,000 participants, dedicated to help fight hunger by supporting the Emergency Food Bank make an impact in our community. Over the past 18 years, the event has raised more than $1 million dollars for the Food Bank and its programs.
