Lisa Vela is the CEO of the San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, bringing over 25 years of experience in multi-language broadcasting, digital marketing, and strategic management. She previously served as Senior VP of Integrated Marketing Solutions, where she led digital and radio strategies at both local and national levels. Lisa’s expertise extends to social media and digital technologies, which she integrates with traditional media for comprehensive marketing solutions. Beyond her media career, Lisa has been deeply involved in community service, including her roles as Chair of the San Joaquin First 5 Children's and Families Commission and Vice-Chair of the Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census. Recognized for her dedication, Lisa has received numerous awards for her public service, including the prestigious Amiga of the Year award from El Concilio. Residing in San Joaquin County, she enjoys spending time with her six children and ten grandchildren while continuing to lead with a transformational leadership style that fosters business growth, advocacy, and community development.
