Dear Stockton-San Joaquin County Library Friends!
As library friends & supporters, we know that…
• Our seriously underfunded Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library needs help.
• A strong public library system is key to having a great quality of life in our city and county.
• We are at least 10 libraries short in Stockton and San Joaquin County.
• Cities with great library systems outspend us $5 to $1.
Well, here’s our chance! — to help turn the tide in our neighborhoods & communities.
In 3 workshops facilitated by Libby Post, the founder of the New York-based Library Campaign Training Institute, you will learn how you can help Stockton and San Joaquin County public libraries through grassroots action.
Please access the links below or the attached PDF to find out about the Citizens-Save-Libraries Workshops in Stockton at the University of the Pacific.
The Workshops will be held Wed August 13, Thu August 14, and Sat August 16. It is best to attend all three. If you cannot attend all 3, you can still attend 1 or 2. Please contact me if you have any questions. PLEASE share this with your networks.
