Constant Scores but Thunder Lose 3-1
Ryan Constant scored his first goal of the season on the power-play but a two-goal second period led the Aces to the 3-1 win and the three-in-three sweep of the Thunder.
The Stockton Thunder lose their seventh-straight road contest as the Alaska Aces defeat the Thunder 3-1 Sunday night in Anchorage. Despite a 34 save performance from Shane Owen and a power-play goal from Ryan Constant, the Thunder could not generate enough offense to overtake the home team. The Thunder are now 4-9-0 on the year and look to end their current road trip on a high note as they travel to Bakersfield Thursday, November 20 for a rare morning matchup at 10:35am PST.

Quotes
“We’re in a position where we have to do what we need to do to get better and put our team in a position to win some games. We’ll take a look at what we have personnel wise and see if it’s what we need to move forward here. Yes we’ve had some adversity from the Idaho weekend but coming here we’re as strong as we probably would be all season minus Garet but we need to become a better team here overall.” – Coach Kromm on what is next for the Stockton Thunder
“I think we miss his leadership in the room and on the ice, those are the important things he brings to us. I think there’s a reason he’s been here as long as he has and the respect he has across the league.” – Coach Kromm on how missing Garet has impacted his team
“I have to watch it a little closer again. I think it’s similar to what happened to MacLellan and Sutter the past two nights and those plays resulted in a two-minute penalty and no penalty.” – Coach Kromm on Shattock penalty
