Delta Drama presents Eurydice, a retelling of the classic myth of Orpheus

Delta Drama presents Eurydice, a retelling of the classic myth of Orpheus, March 9 - 12 at the Alfred H. Muller Studio Theater. A special Women's History Month Gala Fundraising Event performance of of the play will take place on March 8 at 7 p.m. Delta College Culinary Arts will cater the March 8 fundraiser reception at 5:30 p.m., which includes local California wines. Fundraiser tickets are $50 (must be 21 to attend) and can be purchased at the DCA Box Office, 209-954-5110.

Sarah Ruhl reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus, ancient Greek hero and musician, through the eyes of its heroine, Eurudice. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love.
