Big news for park enthusiasts! Starting next month, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors is implementing a new fee schedule for our beloved county parks. This update, part of the fiscal 2024-2025 budget, ensures that our parks continue to thrive and offer top-notch facilities.

What's Changing?

From July 1, 2024, expect slight price adjustments for facility rentals at Micke Grove Regional Park in Lodi and Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park in Stockton. Here are the highlights:

  • Micke Grove Auditorium & Solarium: The weekend and holiday rate will increase from $950 to $1,250.
  • Other Facilities: Modest increases of $100 for the Japanese Garden and Oaks Pavilion, while most other facilities will only see a $25 hike.

Why the Increase?

This is the first fee adjustment since 2012, despite inflation and rising maintenance costs. The new rates align with similar facilities in neighboring regions, ensuring we can maintain and improve our parks.

What Stays the Same?

Good news for visitors—parking and camping fees remain unchanged!
