The Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation is proud to share that Patty and Wayne Judge have received the 2024 George and Barbara Bush Little League Parents of the Year. Patty and Wayne are the parents of ALL RISE Founder, New York Yankees Captain and Outfielder. The Award was presented by Little League International at the2024 MLB Little League Classic on August 18, 2024, in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

“One of our most prestigious recognition awards, the George and Barbara Bush Little League Parents of the Year award,is a representation of the dedicated parents that make the Little League program possible each year and we cannot think of a more deserving set of parents to receive this year’s award than Patty and Wayne Judge,” said Stephen D. Keener,Little League President and CEO. “As an organization, our mission is to teach life lessons that build strong individuals and communities through the power of youth baseball and softball. Since the time Patty and Wayne became parents to Aaron Judge, they have lived this mission out not only in their raising of him, but in the inspiring work they continue to do in communities around the world.”

Aaron was raised in Linden, located in the Central Valley of California. Both Wayne and Patty were educators and spent many years on the local baseball fields of Linden Little League encouraging Aaron in athletics, his studies and life lessons. Through Aaron’s life as a Little League participant, an athlete at Linden High and California State University Fresno, and then onto his life as MLB’s shining star, Wayne and Patty have been highly engaged in Aaron’s life. Their influence has guided him throughout his career. Always respectful and endearing of his parents, Aaron, in prior interviews has shared the influence his parents have had on him. “I know I wouldn’t be a New York Yankee if it wasn’t for my mom”and, “my dad has always been my hero, a guy I looked up to.” Patty and Wayne are worthy of this award, and the ALL RISE Foundation is proud to have their leadership to help guide its success.

Aaron Judge and the ALL RISE Foundation donated copies of the book “Hey Dad! Let’s Have a Catch” with branded stickers that include a message from Aaron, custom bookmarks featuring Aaron’s Little League roster, and as well as ALL RISE #just5minutes wristbands, to all participants at the 2024 Little League Baseball World Series.

Aaron, along with Patty, started the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation in 2018. As Executive Director and President,Patty continues to develop and lead students through programs and initiatives, such as the Aspiring Leaders program –giving elementary through high school students the opportunity to learn, grow and improve their leadership skills. Patty always encourages ALL RISE team members to significantly impact students through book clubs, Master Classes, lessons on social media responsibility, character building pro-camps and workshops, and ALL RISE Mini-Grants. Through these efforts, Patty continues to lead the Foundation team to fulfill their mission: ALL RISE will inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens by engaging them in activities that encourage them to reach unlimited possibilities.
