Financial Center Credit Union is breaking ground this month on a new south Stockton branch that
will service their many members living in the area. It will be one of only two financial institutions
in the entire south area of Stockton, which is home to around 100,000 individuals.
“It all started with a simple goal, to serve people in their neighborhood - hence making it all of our
neighborhood. Now five years later the vision is becoming a reality and our loyal membership
base in South Stockton couldn’t be happier,” said Michael Duffy, President and CEO. “We’ve
been looking for the right location and are thrilled to finally be here with our
member/shareholders”.
The property is located at 2405 S. Airport Way and 10th Street. The new branch, which is 3600
square feet was designed by WMB and is being built by Hanley Construction, both local
companies. Once complete, the corridor along Airport Way will be flanked by Rancho San Miguel
and the Fairgrounds to the north, and Financial Center Credit Union's new development on the
south.
“The residents of South Stockton shouldn’t have to drive across town to access their hard-earned
money. We look forward to the completion of this newest branch that we know will benefit our
members, as well as bring value to the south Stockton neighborhood and community."
